Having partnered earlier in the year, Vans and longstanding glassware brand Fire-King rejoin for another collaborative set of mugs. The goal of this collection was to align the rich histories of both brands and shape them into a grouping of mugs that feature Vans’s iconic checkered print and ‘Off The Wall’ logo as well as Fire-King’s simplistically timeless aesthetic. Each mug will be packaged in the California brand’s original shoe box design and sold at select Japanese retailers this October.

DQM x Vans 2013 Spring/Summer “I Love NY” Collection | IamJuanC

Adopted long ago as the post-modern signature of New York City, Milton Glaser’s iconic 1977 pop-art “I Love NY” logo is set to make its way to two of Vans‘ most beloved footwear silhouettes for a Spring/Summer 2013 collaboration with the Big Apple’s own DQM. The special edition release sees both the Authentic and Sk8-Hi with off-white canvas uppers, white rubber foxing, vulcanized gum rubber outsoles, and the trademarked tourism logo throughout. Finished with printed branding on the insoles, the DQM x Vans 2013 spring/summer “I Love NY” Collection is due to be available in-store and online from The Vans DQM General beginning April 19.

Mike Hill x Vans Syndicate Authentic Pro S Mint/Vanilla | IamJuanC

Vans Syndicate‘s increasingly deep relationship with Alien Workshop has produced numerous exciting products, the latest being a collaborative release with Mike Hill. Hill, the art director behind Alien Workshop’s aesthetic, outfitted a pair of Authentics into a clean offering for the upcoming season. The canvas upper is offered in a distinct mint (not to be confused with Tiffany Blue) color, playing off of the vanilla white of the sole. A hiking-style lacing option, custom footbed and ‘sovereign sect’ heel tab complete the shoe. Previously available via the UK’s Flatspot, the collaborative low-top will soon be available at additional Vans Syndicate accounts across the globe.

Kenzo x Vans 2013 Spring/Summer Footwear | IamJuanC

 

Kenzo and Vans usher in spring this season with some bold animal-inspired prints in a range of vibrant hues. Dubbed “Clouded Leopard,” the unique print has been applied to the Vans Authentic and the Classic Slip-On with each model available in three colors. With colorways ranging from moody blues to orange and green, and yellow and blue, there’s a color scheme for everyone in the 4th round of this collaboration. Look for the collection at Kenzo boutiques, online and at select stockists including Opening Ceremony and Lane Crawford.

New Vans Vault Authentic LX VLT

Not a lot of words need to be associated with this Vans Vault drop as it takes Vans’s timeless and iconic Authentic for a more luxurious spin. Maintaining the overall shape, the materials are given an update away from the usual more pedestrian use of canvas. The monotone offering is available now at Caliroots.

New John Cardiel Vans Era 46 Pro

Vans drops a new colorway in its Era 46 Pro, a more rugged and durable take on the brand’s classic Era silhouette. The shoes feature a black and orange scheme tying back to the Bay Area and its native son John Cardiel, who came up with the color combo. Look for these now through select Vans stores, including Premier. Retail is set at a reasonable $60 USD.

Vans California 2011 Spring New Releases

Vans drops a new range of designs as the Spring 2011 season officially kicks off. Featured within the California Collection are new colorways of the Chukka Del Barco CA, Era CA, and Zapato Slip CA. All feature easygoing, laid back colorways with a mix of premium textiles. Look for these now through select Vans California accounts, including Proper in Long Beach, California.

New Deluxe Vans Chukka

Japanese label Deluxe recently redesigned the iconic Vans Chukka. The boot has been given a luxury makeover, now sporting a black croc skin upper and leather heel strip. Whilst the Vans side panel tag remains, the front label has been replaced with a modern, collaboratively banded version, colored to match the white accents found on the shoe. Fans won’t be asked to wait in anticipation for long, since the release date has already been confirmed to be November 13.
