Drawing inspiration from his personal Type 57SC (referred to as La Voiture Noire), and made to recognize Jean Bugatti's professional achievements, the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Bugatti Edition ($3 million) is something to behold in all black carbon fiber. This edition is limited to just three models, sports an incredible 1,200 horsepower, and features eye-popping details like a platinum grill surround and badges, a silhouette of the 57SC in the door inserts, a rosewood shifter, and twin five-spoke wheels.

For Fall/Winter, Christian Louboutin presents the Louis Orlato Spike Velvet sneakers. The sneakers boast premium velvet uppers in a rich shade of deep red complemented by an array of black spikes across the toe box and sides, and dark grey piping along the edges of each panel. The dark grey shad used for the piping also appears on the laces and the comfortable rubber sole. Inside is a soft leather lining for premium comfort. Blender Agency x Prohunter Rolex Military Submariner | IamJuanC

 To celebrate their 10^th anniversary, Oslo-based fashion showroom Blender Agency commissioned a limited edition Rolex Military Submariner design from custom watch master, Prohunter. Agency owners and Rolex collectors Magnus Thorud and Kyrre Alver collaborated to create the watch, which features a sleek update to the original 1972 design. The 40mm case is coated in black carbon with special military ceramic inserts from Switzerland. Along with the Rolex crown, the custom black bezel insert includes white logos from Blender and Prohunter, surrounded by the full 60 minute markers. Finishing the works of art are the classic G10 straps, available in black, green or custom camouflage. Each watch back is engraved with the edition number, from 1 to 10, and “BLENDER AGENCY 10^th.” These treasures are available only by request to the Blender Agency.

OriginalFake releases the Astro Boy Companion in Grey in collaboration with KAWS, who previously released his color interpretation of the iconic manga robot last year with both a figure and a T-shirt. Honoring the Osamu Tezuka-created character’s original 1952 black and white appearance, the Companion incorporates instantly recognizable elements from both characters, and was release at KAWSONE on March 15.

A curving road wraps the coast of rhodes, greece, flanked by the ocean on one side and a pre-existing retaining stone wall on the other. german practice hornung and jacobi architecture have proposed a single-family residence embedded into the fibers that make up the mediterranean context manifested as a contemporary vessel. the main entrance is the only object that interrupts the continuous rock barrier, a garage that resides underground ending in a winding staircase at the opposite end. the first level puts the user in the middle of the convergence of light, space, and views. the general form consists in a bent and faceted rectangular prism, lifted off the ground framing the ocean's horizon. the elevated exterior ground plane houses a swimming pool and ample yard space under the overhanging bedroom space, where parametric triangular apertures open sight lines from the private program to the water below. the living and dining rooms are next to the pool, in a semi-elevated level from the entry and kitchen area. the program also prompted for a guest house which was embedded into the landscape as a separate structure from the primary house, connected by a landscaped walkway that maintains a certain level of privacy for each party but retains a sense of unity as well.

The contemporary loafer is now available online for $1,895 USD.

Depeche Mode x Hublot Big Bang for charity: water | IamJuanC

Legendary English alternative rock band Depeche Mode teamed up with renowned watchmaker Hublot for a special-edition timepiece. Limited to 250 pieces, the collaboration is an effort to benefit charity: water, an organization committed to providing clean drinking water to the approximately 800 million people living without it. The piece itself is a black chronograph with stud detailing around the bezel, finished with a matching leather band. The members of Depeche Mode habe notably committed themselves to fundraising over the years, teaming up with Hublot previously in 2010 to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust. More information is still in the works, but the exceptional piece looks to be for a great cause.

New Bugatti Gangloff Concept | IamJuanC

While it may never come to actual fruition, preliminary images of the Bugatti Gangloff concept certainly provide ample excitement for what the next generation supercar may look like from the French manufacturer. Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski drew inspiration from the 1938 Type 57 SC Atalante Coupe — but even casual gearheads will note a nod to a current beast being churned out dubbed the Veyron. In speaking about the project Czyzewski commented, “In time of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart.” This is obviously an attempt to harken back to a period of exclusive and hand-built automobiles – with key design attributes including muscular front fenders and rear shoulders and slender flanks featuring the traditional blade-shaped air intakes.
