2013 LaFerrari Officially Revealed | Video | IamJuanC

For years, many have looked to Ferrari as the definition of design and performance. The 2013 LaFerrari is very much that as it comes on the heels of its predecessor, the Enzo to create what the Italian company claims is “maximum expression” of what it represents as an automotive company. With a combination 6.3 liter V12 combining 789 horsepower with a further 160-hp electric engine, low-end torque propels the sports car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under three seconds, as you reach 124 mph in impressive manner after seven seconds. The car also boasts a top speed of 205 mph. Positioned as the brand’s fastest ever — entirely expected given its position within the brand lineup — LaFerrari is on track to set some all new benchmarks for the automotive heavyweight.

New McLaren Unveils Official Photos of the P1 | IamJuanC

In a year that will surely see its fair share of celebration from McLaren thanks in part to 2013 marking its 50th Anniversary as highlighted here, the English carmaker rejoices in the release of official production photos for its highly anticipated P1 sportscar. Having first covered the coupe here which was followed by an in action video that released just last month, McLaren provides imagery to what will be expected to hit showrooms later this year.

Besides the new color, this P1 offers added carbon fiber air-vents on both corners of the front bumper, road tires and a tighter mesh for the rear end vent. McLaren has further announced that this model’s hybrid powertrain combines a mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and an electric motor producing a system output of 903HP (916PS) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.

New Bugatti Gangloff Concept | IamJuanC

While it may never come to actual fruition, preliminary images of the Bugatti Gangloff concept certainly provide ample excitement for what the next generation supercar may look like from the French manufacturer. Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski drew inspiration from the 1938 Type 57 SC Atalante Coupe — but even casual gearheads will note a nod to a current beast being churned out dubbed the Veyron. In speaking about the project Czyzewski commented, “In time of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart.” This is obviously an attempt to harken back to a period of exclusive and hand-built automobiles – with key design attributes including muscular front fenders and rear shoulders and slender flanks featuring the traditional blade-shaped air intakes.

My buddy Dan would love this car!
