Jimmy Choo releases a pair of luxury snakeskin high tops, available now at MR PORTER packaged with branded dust bags. The £633 GBP (approximately $960 USD) shoes feature a leather lining and partially concealed silver eyelets. As for the upper, while the sneakers do break up some of the continuity of the pattern by introducing padded panels and stitching, it’s the textures that really make this pair happen. The gray leather upper opts for a much more rugged snakeskin pattern than those typically seen used in similar items and it pairs well with the coarser foxing on the white midsole.

Cody Hudson & Converse (RED) Chuck Tayor All Star High

Another Converse collaboration is in the pipeline as Cody Hudson puts his creative touches on the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star High. The American artist joins Parra as a recent collaborator, with his design featuring a red leather upper with embossing on the side and tongue. Also seen is a blue toecap which creates a strong contrast in the aesthetic. A release is not yet available but should come in the next few weeks.
