This Monolith Case ($260) by Century which is able to project images in 640×360 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, with 12 lumens of brightness. The largest projection size recommended is 60 inches, but better be in a dark environment. It seems that egos, elbows and iPhones all share something in common: everyone’s got one. In a day and age that is filled with rampant speculation, it would probably be appropriate to add “rumors” to that list as well. News coming out of Apple HQ today suggests that the technology juggernaut, and freshly-minted CEO Tim Cook, will be showing the iPhone 5 on October 4 during a scheduled media session. This will mark the first public appearance for Cook in his new position, and industry insiders speculate that the phone will be available “within weeks” of the actual announcement. Rumors…there’s an app for that.
