Luxury automotive maker Aston Martin has teamed up with Mobiado to create a one-of-a-kind mobile phone. Dubbed “The Grand 350,” the gadget is finely crafted to say the least. From the CNC-machined aluminum case to the 2.36-inch 271-carat sapphire crystal screen (capable of displaying 16 million colors), stainless steel keys, quad-band antenna, Bluetooth, micro USB connector and GPS capabilities, this high-tech beauty truly is the supercar of cellphones. Although no price has been released for The Grand 350 yet, prospective customers can expect to pony up a sizable amount for the device. News on whether James Bond will be chatting on it in the next installation of the franchise has also yet to be announced.

British company Dyson are known for their innovations in the appliance industry and with this latest releases they can surely pat themselves on the back once more. The Dyson ‘Hot‘ is an air multiplyer (i.e fan) that produces hot air without the use of any hot surfaces or dust inducing blades. The device uses technology much similar to a jet engine by inducing air through a 2.5mm ring then driving it over an aerofoil. Sitting on a base that turns means that a whole room can be heated evenly which is something traditional heaters struggle to do. A remote control takes care of the settings meaning a user can control the temperature and airflow from a distance. The Hot will be available at retailers soon or online for £269.99 in either silver or blue.

It seems that egos, elbows and iPhones all share something in common: everyone’s got one. In a day and age that is filled with rampant speculation, it would probably be appropriate to add “rumors” to that list as well. News coming out of Apple HQ today suggests that the technology juggernaut, and freshly-minted CEO Tim Cook, will be showing the iPhone 5 on October 4 during a scheduled media session. This will mark the first public appearance for Cook in his new position, and industry insiders speculate that the phone will be available “within weeks” of the actual announcement. Rumors…there’s an app for that.

The car takes inspiration from the successful Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race car, fusing racing aesthetics in a road worthy package. The car features a V10 power plant that generates 570 HP as well as a rear spoiler for increased dynamic stability during high-speeds, both of which are used in the racing version. The lightweight construction is thanks to a carbon composite material that helps it jump from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale sports a brand new “Rosso Mars” finish that symbolizes Italy’s traditional racing red while the car’s “Thrust Mode” helps with launches from a dead start. The Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale creates a truly stunning driving experience and will be produced in a limited run of 150 numbered units.

The world of touch screen technology keeps getting more exciting with every new product launched but Light Blue Optics just took it to a whole new level. Introducing the Light Touch Projector, a device that turns any flat surface into a 10.1 inch touch area. It uses clever holographic technology to beam a specially created application onto the surface where a user can interact just by touching it.
