Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept

After months of speculation, Bugatti has finally pulled the wraps off its new four-door supercar concept just ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show at an event for past customers and Bugatti-intenders. Up to this point, we've been referring to the French uber-sedan as the Bordeaux, but it seems the actual car's moniker will be Galibier – the name of a difficult Alpine pass along the Tour de France.


One of the Galibier's most striking features is undoubtedly its two-tone outer shell, which is comprised of both polished aluminum for the doors and front fenders and a unique dark blue carbon fiber weave that shines through when illuminated. We also note a prominent center spine that recalls past Bugattis like the Type 35 and the classically beautiful Type 57.

Powering the Galibier concept will be a version of Bugatti's ridiculously powerful eight-liter W16 powerplant. Unlike the mill propelling the Veyron to ludicrous speed, this version is mounted up front and is capable of running on ethanol fuel, which may or may not allow the automaker to squeeze a few more ponies out of the engine... not that it needs it, of course.

Current reports peg the Galibier's top speed at 217 miles per hour (350 kilometers per hour), which, while slower than the Veyron's epic terminal velocity, is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

HTC Desire HD / Z

A front runner of the Android mobile movement, HTC recently unveiled two brand new phones based on the successful Desire model. Covering different user needs, they will come to market in the form of the Desire HD and the Desire Z. The Desire HD as the name suggests is a high-powered multimedia handset with a 4.3″ LCD display, Dolby Mobile and SRS Virtual Sound and a new 1Ghz 8255 Snapdragon processor. The Desire HD’s body is constructed of one piece of solid aluminum. The Desire Z fulfills the need for those requiring a physical keyboard with a slightly scaled down 800Mhz 7230 Snapdragon processor for a best of both worlds for battery life and performance. Both phones will be equipped with the all new re-designed HTC Sense with European and Asian availability starting in October.

This season, KR3W and Supra link up on a collaborative capsule titled “The Franchise”. KR3W’s 11 oz slub denim forms the basis of the Vaider High seen here with additional siganature KREW 3-rivet detailing. Also part of the pack is a snapback hat and bandanna. Bell & Ross Vintage Collection

The aviators of the 1940s are part of a tribute courtesy of Bell & Ross’ new VINTAGE COLLECTION. Replicating many of the characteristics used 70 years ago in the aviation industry, the VINTAGE OFFICER watch features subtle modifications for a sense of understated luxury. Features include a domed sapphire crystal, new dial graphics and an ergonomic design. Two movements include either the BR 123, or the chronograph BR 126. Completing each watch is an alligator leather band. The OFFICER WATCH comes in either black or silver offerings.

Interbike 2010: Cinelli Mash Track Frameset

Prolly Is Not Probably offers us a look into the continued collaboration between San Francisco’s MASH and esteemed bike makers Cinelli, as the two produce a new track bike for Interbike 2010. This new version sees a change of color as well as graphics, adding a nice look that compliments the slight changes in geometry. For those interested in purchasing, the bike can be specially ordered through your local Cinelli dealer.

Nixon The Magnacon SS Watch

Nixon updates the ‘Elite Series’ badge of the Magnacon SS watches with the release of two new colourways. Now worthy of the ‘Elite’ label.

The original versions of these watches has canvas straps, which made them look no so premium. The addition of the stainless steel strap has improved the design, which now matches its name. The chronograph has three subdials with a day and date function and housing it is a titanium carbide-coated case.
